In Denmark, Aalborg University’s annual celebration last April 8th, that took place in the beautiful and spacious surroundings at the Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre, included the attribution of some honorary PhDs. The Minister of Science and Technology of Denmark, the Rector and the Dean of Engineering and Science of the University were at the ceremony. One of the awardees was Renuka Vithal, member of the Executive Committee of ICMI. Renuka is a professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
