The second workshop of the CANP Programme in Sub-Saharan Africa (Ecole de Didactique et de Mathématiques, EDiMaths) will be held in  Sénégal at the Faculté des Sciences et Technologies de l’Education et de la Formation (FASTEF) de l’Université Cheikh Anta de Dakar from September 11-16, 2012.

The topic of the school is Dimensions culturelle et historique des mathématiques dans la formation des enseignants. »

About 70 participants from Mali, Burkina FASO, Cote d'ivoire, Niger, Mozambique  Bénin, Togo, Gambia, RDC, Mauritania, Madagascar, France, Canada and Sénégal  will participate in the workshop.

The workshop is supported by the Ministère de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche du sénégal, ICMI, CFEM, CIMPA, APSA, Institut Francais au Sénégal and SUDES.
