ICMI and IMU have decided during 2008 the launching of the Klein Project, whose ambition is to revisit Felix Klein's seminal reflection on mathematical knowledge for teaching in the light of mathematical, technological and educational advances.  The project will have three outputs: a book simultaneously published in several languages, a resource DVD for teachers, and a website.  

This joint ICMI-IMU project is under the responsibility of a Design Team, chaired by Bill Barton.  Comments and suggestions about the project are welcome and should be sent to the Chair.

The Design Team will have its first meeting in Paris on May 30 - June 2, 2009.
