IMU Breakout Graduate Fellowship Awardees 2023
BGF grants are funded by the generous donations from Breakthrough Prize winners. The award of full PhD grants goes to three students from developing countries engaged in a PhD degree in the mathematical sciences in a developing country. The 2023 recipients are as follows (listed in alphabetical order):
Heritiana Daniel Andriasolofo
Heritiana Daniel ANDRIASOLOFO received for one year a doctoral fellowship to to pursue a PhD at University of Antananarivo and to work in discrete maths, on random graphs and analytic combinatoris. His supervisor was Vlady Ravelomanana.
Priyendhu Kethappan Sasikumar
Priyendhu KETHAPPAN SASIKUMAR received a three year doctoral fellowship to to pursue a PhD and work on Fractional Nonlinear PDE, Analytical Methods, Conservation Laws, Analytical Solutions at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam, Coimbatore Campus, Amritanagar Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu under the supervision of P. Prakash.
Marzieh Souri
Marzieh SOURI received a four year doctoral fellowship to pursue a PhD at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences. She plans to work on low dimensional topology and knot theory under the supervision of Eaman Eftekhary.
