In commemoration of each gathering, proceedings have been published accordingly and these published proceedings have always been valued by involved parties, including individuals, universities, institutes and societies. Proceedings of ICM 2014 will consist of four volumes with articles anchored in plenary lectures, invited section lectures, as well as articles based on the lectures delivered by the recipients of the Fields Medal, the Chern, the Gauss, and the Nevanlinna Prizes. The first volume, in particular, gathers the speeches at the opening and the closing ceremonies and other highlights observed in and around the Congress. It is anticipated that the published proceedings of ICM 2014 be distributed globally to university libraries and its electronic copy be shared with all registered participants at the Congress venue upon registration.
