Isabelle Gallagher was elected SMF president on June 15 2024. A specialist of partial differential equations and fluid mechanichs, she was an invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in 2014. She won the CNRS Silver Medal in 2016 and the Prix Sophie Germain in 2018.
