The conference was held at Birzeit University and gathered 41 attendees around various fields of mathematics, such as statistics, game theory, analytic combinatorics, probability, differential or difference equations. Through the talks mathematical and statistical research were motivated and encouraged. Bachelor and Master Students got to see new topics in Applied Mathematics and Statistics when applied to real life to solve problems in industrial economics and science. Furthermore the relationships between the French and Palestinian Universities (and collaborators) have been strengthened with new connections creating a high possibility for some of our excellent master students in mathematics to joint PhD programs in France.
