The deadline for applying to volunteer at ICM 2018, ended on February 28, 2018.
The selection process will take place between April and May 2018, and the results will be released in June 2018.
If you have submitted your volunteer application, be aware of the e-mail that you indicated in the application for scheduling your interview.
All candidates should meet the following basic requirements:
After registration, candidates satisfying basic requirements will be contacted by e-mail to follow in the selection process and to participate face-to-face interview for candidates residing in the city of Rio de Janeiro and online interview for candidates not residing in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
After all stages, the candidates selected will proceed to the training phase, which will be specific to the area of activity, and participate in the training at the venue and facilities.
The training will be divided into three modules:

Only after completing all selection and training stages will the candidate be able to assume their position as a volunteer. Volunteers residing outside the City of Rio de Janeiro must participate in the training session or they will be disqualified.
The ICM2018 Organizing Committee shall not be responsible for providing legal justification for school, college or work absences. A statement will be provided to volunteers who need and request one; it will be provided at the end of the work day and indicate time of arrival and departure.

August 06, 07 and 08 (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday): 7:30 to 19:00

Volunteers may be requested to work during the pre-event, which includes a period of up to 3 days prior to the above period.
