To attend the Opening Ceremony Congress badge is compulsory, therefore we recommend completing your registration process at the registration counter located at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos on August 21st from 09.00 to 21.00.

Extended date for early registration fee: 31 May 2006

Registration forms together with payment, will be eligible at this early fee when received in the Technical Secretary Office before midnight 31 May 2006. Registration forms or payments received from 1st June 00.01 local time, higher fee will apply.

REGISTRATION

Registration is required in order to be admitted to the venue and for participation in the scientific program of the Congress and other ICM2006 activities.

• Full registration includes: all conference materials, the Proceeding of the congress, free coffee during coffee breaks,a public transport ticket valid for 7 consecutive days, and admittance to the Opening Ceremony (see information about the Opening Ceremony below).
• Students who have not completed their PhD have the option of registering at the reduced student rate on presentation of an official student certificate from their university. Student registration does not include the Proceedings of the Congress.
• Registration for accompanying persons includes: badge, a public transport ticket valid for 7 consecutive days and admittance to the Opening Ceremony (see information about the Opening Ceremony below).

All registrations must be submitted on official registration forms. Please use a separate form for each participant. Please use only one method for submission of your reservation, otherwise multiple reservations may occur and reservations may even be rejected by the operational system. Telephone requests cannot be accepted.  The registration will be considered as binding when it is received by UNICONGRESS and the total fees have been received. Participants applying for hotel accommodation and ticket reservations for the tourist program must be registered.

If your application has been accepted, it is compulsory that you process your registration to confirm your participation upon receiving your confirmation message, and in any case, no later than Friday 28^th April.

3. Save the filled form in your computer.

PARTICIPANTS FROM COUNTRIES THAT NEED VISA ENTRY FOR SPAIN

Visa Invitation Letter Request
Those applicants in need of a visa invitation letter, should send their request to icm2006@unicongress.com, ICM 2006 Technical Secretariat before 28^th February providing the following information:

• City of Spanish diplomatic mission from which to get VISA
• Full name as in Passport
• Nationality
• Passport Number

DATA PROTECTION

The protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data is published in the European Parliament Directive 95/46/EC and of the Council of 24 October 1995. The Spanish LO 15/99 published in  B.O.E. of 14 December 1999 also refers to personal data protection.In accordance with these Directives your personal data will be processed by ICM2006 for the promotion of the Congress.By filling in this form, you are authorizing ICM2006 to use your data for the above mentioned purpose.You are entitled to change or cancel your personal data through the ICM2006 Secretariat. 

SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS BY PARTICIPANTS

Registered participants will have the opportunity to present their mathematical work in the form of a Short Communication, a Poster or a contribution on Mathematical Software. Only one of the three possibilities will be allowed for each participant. Presentations at the congress in one of the above mentioned sections will be possible provided that participants:

• Have registered by March 30 and marked in the registration form that they want to present their work.
• Have submitted an abstract by that date.

• Registration Desk
  At this location, registered delegates will be provided with badges, and vouchers for all those events that have been confirmed. Congress bag with congress documents will be delivered separately. These documents will not be mailed before the Congress.In the case of fees which have been forwarded late and have therefore not yet been credited to the account of ICM2006 on the day of arrival, a copy of the remittance order must be presented.

• On-site registration Desk
  All registrations processed on or after August 16^th, 2006 will be delivered on the On-site registration desk.The following credit cards will be accepted for On-site registration: VISA, EUROCARD & MASTERCARD.

OPENING CEREMONY

Prior registration for the opening ceremony is compulsory. The ceremony will be held in Auditorium A. Extra seats will be available in Auditorium B and Polivalente Hall, receiving audio and video from Auditorium A. The meeting room will be assigned on reception of congress documents.

In order to attend the opening ceremony, participants must have completed the registration process at the registration counter located at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos on August 21^st  from 09.00 to 21.00 or up to 60 minutes before the opening ceremony on August 22^nd.

PARTY

In the evening of August 28, a dinner party will be organized for Congress participants and registered accompanying persons, in the Botanical Garden of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

A variety of local "tapas" and other Spanish specialities will be served. In addition music will round-off the celebration to put a finishing touch to the ICM 2006 get together event.
