SUBJECT: Change group of NORWAY
Dear Colleagues,
The Executive Committee of IMU on its 65rd Meeting, decided to invite Norway to change from Group I to Group II in the IMU structure, as of January 1st, 1999. So, please, find enclosed the application listing mathematicians in Norway, as well Norwegian mathematicians on editorial boards of international journals, and selected publications in international journals 1994-1998.
We also enclose the corresponding Postal Ballots (Number 3/98), that I ask you to send us back with your vote as soon as possible.
Please notice that the Postal Ballot is the responsibility of the Adhering Organizations. We are sending the correspondence also to the National Committees to keep them well informed.
